The agro-industrial holding company “ECO-culture”, a leader in the greenhouse industry in Russia, will build greenhouse complexes with an area of more than 500 hectares in the Turkestan region. In the greenhouse, the construction of which will begin this year, tomatoes will be planted on an area of 51 hectares.
Today, Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy met with investors and discussed an important project. Large-scale construction work is scheduled to begin in March and last a year. The project of the greenhouse mega-complex is being implemented with the help of the partner of the agro-industrial holding “ECO-culture” – the Kazakh company “Green Land Alatau”.
Now work is underway to bring the infrastructure. The investment project implemented in the Kelessky district provides for the creation of about 1,000 jobs. In addition, investors, together with Russian universities that train specialists in the agricultural sector, intend to start training qualified specialists in the field of agriculture.
The main activity of the agro-industrial holding “ECO-culture” is the cultivation of vegetables in the closed ground, the production cycle continues all year round. The APH includes operating greenhouse complexes in several regions of Russia. The southern region with favorable climatic conditions has been specially selected for the implementation of the investment project. The project is planned to be financed through a bank separately from private financing.
– This will be one of the most important projects to be implemented in our region. Professional development of specialists in the field of agriculture is also a very important issue. The project will create jobs for our fellow countrymen. The demand for agricultural products is always high. It is important for us to implement such a large project,” Darkhan Satybaldy said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to thoroughly work out issues related to the construction of engineering infrastructure, investment subsidies and financing of the project.
Modern greenhouse complexes will be equipped with a modern automated climate control system that controls the full cycle of growing crops, heating and cooling system.
